“Can you just tell us?” asked Violet.

“Devin asked me not to say anything, so I won’t,” replied Skylar. She put a hand on her hip.

Pablo checked his watch again. “If Devin wants to sit out this level or the whole challenge, that’s fine. But we need to keep going if we want to finish on time.”

Dr. Crisp looked over her shoulder at Devin. “We won’t go on without you, Devin. Unless you say it’s okay.”

Devin responded with a head nod.

Dr. Crisp replied with a salute.

“Okay, then. Hold on!” She shouted into her watch. “Maker Maze, activate wind tunnel!”
